Greetings LifeRing Members,
On December 4th we had our Annual Conference, and discussed many items. Although we had low attendance the board of directors that has been meeting monthly in 2021, were able to discuss a lot of important topics.
The most important topics were disbanding the existing board of directors, electing a new board of directors and establishing key focus points for the upcoming year.
The elected members met again December 19th and established positions/appointments. The New Board of Directors are President, Jamie Itterman, Vice President, Barbara Ross, Finance Officer, Brenda Tosoff, Secretary, Jill McClarry, and Director, George Gidora. We have a big job ahead of us with lots of important communications coming.
We are always looking for volunteers, you don’t always have to be an active part of the board, but can be a participant of a committee, offering skills that would greatly benefit us. Come forward and approach any of us and we can find a great fulfilling job for you. You can also send an email to info@liferingcanada.org. Some of our committees include, fundraising, website & social media, training of convenors.

Our face-to-to-face meeting at Pearkes Recreation Centre on Friday, December 24th is cancelled, along with our face-to-face-meeting at the CEED Centre on December 24th. Please join us at our on-line meetings over the holidays.
