Volunteer Roles Available
- Board Members guide strategy and governance so our community keeps growing sustainably.
- Convenors (In Person + Online) facilitate supportive meetings that help peers build independent, sober lives.
- IT Support maintains the digital tools that keep members connected and informed.

Convenor Pathway
- Have a minimum of four months substance-free.
- Visit LifeRing Canada meetings to experience the flow.
- Set aside 4–6 volunteer hours per month.
- Read through the Convenor Training Manual to learn our format.
- Co-convene at least two meetings with an experienced mentor.
- Lead a minimum of two meetings with mentor support.
- Watch the convenor training video and complete the five online quizzes.
Support Every Step of the Way
LifeRing volunteers model our core values while gaining new skills and confidence. Mentors walk with you during early meetings and projects, and resources remain available whenever you have questions.
